Program Fee payment guide and options

At Humanity Group Homes, we provide clear, reliable, and transparent payment options for our residents, their families, and community partners. Review accepted payment channels, third-party assistance programs, and essential payment guidelines below.

We work directly with residents, representative payees, and sponsoring agencies to make program fee transactions seamless and documented.

Automatic Program Fee

To help ensure room and board is paid on time, Humanity Group Homes requires residents to maintain an approved automatic program fee payment arrangement when permitted by applicable law and the resident's payment source.

Residents or authorized payers may use an approved recurring payment method, such as ACH bank transfer or recurring card payment.

Residents whose program fee is paid by a representative payee, housing program, agency, family member, sponsor, or other authorized third party may have that authorized payer establish the recurring payment arrangement.

Residents will receive the applicable payment terms before move-in, including the monthly amount, payment date, and procedures for updating or canceling an authorized payment method.

Failure to maintain an approved payment arrangement or failure to pay the program fee when due may result in the legally required notice and eviction process.

Third - Party Payee?

A third-party payee is an authorized person, organization, agency, or program that makes housing payments on behalf of a resident.

For example, a resident's family member, representative payee, housing assistance program, VA-related assistance program, nonprofit organization, or approved agency may pay some or all of the resident's housing costs.

Third-party payments must be approved and arranged with management in advance. The payer may be required to provide the resident's information, payment details, authorization, and any documentation required by the applicable program.

The resident remains responsible for any portion of the housing charges that is not covered by the approved third-party payment, according to the resident's housing agreement.  Humanity Group Homes, can serve as a resident's repersentive payee, upon SSA approval.
